In the early days of hunting and gathering, mankind invented cases. It was unavoidable. Cavemen got tired of trying to carry a spear, a rock, a club, and an iPod all at the same time, with only two arms to hold it all. Something was always getting dropped, usually the iPod, and you know how useless and iPod is once a pterodactyl has stepped on it. So, mankind invented the case. Now early man could carry all his needed stuff in one convenient container when he went hunting. What a relief!
