If you're age 10 through 17, now is the time to register for Guitar School 2011.  This intensive, five day course of study will focus on music theory as it applies to the guitar, how to build chords, scales, chord progressions, individual and group performance, technical education (i.e., intonation, pickups, truss rods, the mechanics of the guitar, etc.), and lots more.  This course is intended to give the young player a "leg up" on his peers by condensing years' worth of "accidental" education into a formal arrangement.  Seating will be limited to the first 15 students who register.  The course will start at 9:00 each morning, and end at noon each day. Students who successfully complete the course, and keep up with their home practice assignments, will be miles ahead in their understanding of the guitar, how it is used in music, and how the guitar works.
