Every now and then a cool piece passes through the Backstage portals that we just feel the need to share with our friends.  This is a "no name" archtop that bears a strong resemblance to some of the old Harmony and Kay economy archtops from the 1960's and 1970's.  It's all laminated wood, no headstock logo, and no label inside. Your guess is as good as ours on what name it once carried, if any.  Believe it or not, this wasn't the most economical guitar made back then.  Harmony had an all-laminate archtop with both f-holes and fretboard "inlays" that were painted on.   This guitar, while certainly a bargain instrument, is still a cut above that. (Neither the guitar nor Don are for sale.  Sorry.)
