WHO  YA  GONNA  CALL ??

When you call Backstage Music, these are the guys on the other end of the phone.......

TONY FOSTER

A Columbus native, Tony began playing professionally at the ripe old age of 17, and 23 years later is still playing guitar and singing.   Tony has been with Backstage for over ten years, and, in addition to being an owner, manages the repair division of Backstage Music.   Certified by Fender in three areas as a Silver Level Technician, Tony specializes in all aspects of guitar and amplifier repair, and is widely respected as the most knowledgeable tube amp repairman in North Mississippi.  (Notice the cool P-51 Mustang in the background. He also digs online flight sims.)

EARL SIX

Earl is a professional drummer who has been playing in Golden Triangle bands for longer than we can remember.   He worked part-time at Backstage for many years, until he came on board as a full-time guy.  Earl is well known for his deep knowledge of percussion, guitars, and basses, and his personal attention to our customers, and is a Bronze Level Fender Authorized Service Technician.  He also hold the rare distinction of being a Starkville native, rather than the more locally common "transplant".

DON SIBLEY

What can we say about Don?   Don plays bass and does vocals for K Is For Kate.   As a mainstay in the sales department, Don can hold his own with the best.   Don's a fiend for giving good service, and his dependability is second to none.   Don has put his mark on the business and made it his home.   Don has also been certified by Fender as a Bronze Level Service Technician.

JIM BEATY

The senior member of the Backstage Music crew has been involved in the music industry since he played his first paying gig on bass at age 12.  An original founder of Backstage Music in 1978, Jim works mainly with the commercial sound system design and installation division.  Long term customers as well as brand new clients tap into his "hands-on" knowledge on a regular basis.  Jim can be found in the store most days that he's not hanging from a 50 foot scaffolding rig.

ALLEN McBROOM

Allen got involved as an part-owner of Backstage in just the last couple of years.  He can rarely be found at the store during regular hours, except on occasional Saturdays when he resorts to his self-imposed title of "part-time flunky".  Allen's true addition to the place is more of a "Grand Imagineer", working on projects and promotions.  He's also a walking encyclopedia on used and vintage guitars.  Allen also plays guitar with the praise band at the First United Methodist Church, as well as the occasional Fate Douglas Road Band gig.

CRAIG COTHAM

Craig comes to the Backstage sound contracting division fulltime after serving as our primary engineering consultant for almost two years.   A veteran of the "wire wars", Craig's expertise in designing, installing and maintaining A/V, pro audio, and digital equipment systems is second to none.   An absolute wiz with an oscilloscope, but we admit his guitar playing stinks..................

SCOTT ALLEN

Scott is the fresh kid in town, as far as the Backstage gang goes.   He's on the sales floor most days, and he knows his stuff.   A killer bass player (and the son of a killer bass player), Scott also attends MSU and works with one of the area's most talked about new bands - Sun 16.   Call on Scott for some top-notch service with a smile.
