Backstage Music began as a musical instrument retailer in 1978.  Shortly after the sale of a few P.A. systems, a nightclub owner asked about the possibilities of his newly purchased system being delivered and installed.  The request was fulfilled, and thus began the journey of sound system design and contracting.
   
    Over the next 20 years, much has changed with regard to the business of audio installation for Backstage Music. The sound system contracting division, headed by owner Jim Beaty, has accounted for the successful sale and installation of hundreds of audio systems throughout Mississippi and Alabama.

   
    Houses of worship comprise the majority of our clients in the installation market - our specialty, if you will.   The professional staff at Backstage Music will gladly help with any size system requirement, from the original design to the expert installation of equipment and training of operators.
