LTD EC-256 in Black Satin Finish, New
Backstage has sold many LTD EC-256 guitars, but this one is by far the most formal member of the club. LTD calls it "Black Satin", because of the flat, black matte finish trimmed out in thin white binding. We call it "wow-wee", 'cause it's a real knock-out!
All photos are of the actual guitar, serial number ending 0843. Usually, our photos are outside in the sun, but it's raining all this week.
Mahogany body and three-piece neck? Check. Rosewood fingerboard and flamed maple top? Check and check. Covered passive pickups, set-neck construction, and 22XJ frets? You get it all, without the massive price tag you'd usually expect from such a well-made single-cutaway electric guitar.
The EC-256FM is at home on blues, classic rock, hard rock, progressive rock, fusion, and much more, and it's available in a terrific killer-looking finish called Black Satin.
