Ampeg VL502 Guitar Amplifier with V-412TL 4 x 12" Cabinet

Regular price $ 900.00

This amp is the brain child of Lee Jackson one of the early amp modders back in the day. This amp was made back in the 1990s and is of a hot-rodded Marshall type lineage. As in VERY hot-rodded. And it has some interesting features including a frequency pot that changes the tone range of the amp. Your thin sounding Fender single coils need some meat behind them? Dial this knob to the left a bit to pick up some fullness.

The tube complement is 2xEL34 for power tubes and 6x12AX7 preamp tubes.

Early 1990’s Ampeg V412TL slant 4x12 guitar cabinet with Ampeg-branded Celestion V12L speakers.

This cabinet was built when Ampeg was part of St. Louis Music and was designed to be used either in mono (4 or 16 ohms) or stereo (8 ohms). It also has an output, to use for another extension cabinet.
