Buying guitars, amps, basses, and other gear on the internet seems easy, until you have to have it delivered. Porch pirates are real, bad weather is real, and leaving music gear on your front porch is a really bad idea.
Backstage Music wants to make your life less stressful, so we've created a program called Safe Dock. Basically, we'll act as the receiving dock for your online gear purchases.
Safe Dock is free and easy to use. Just have the music gear you order online shipped to Backstage, and we'll receive it, call you when its here, and hold it for your pickup. We receive UPS, FedEx, and Post Office trucks every day, so there's no reason to risk your hard-earned money by leaving your purchase on the porch.
Using this free service is simple, just follow three easy steps:
1. Tell the shipper to send your package to Backstage Music, Attention: Your Name, 115 Highway 12 West, Starkville, MS 39759.
2. Tell the shipper to write your name and phone number in big letters on the box itself.
3. Call Backstage at 662-323-3824, and tell us your name, your phone number, and the name of the shipper.
That's it. Simple.
When the package arrives, we'll examine it for any obvious external damage, and if it looks okay, we'll call (or text) and let you know it's here. Pick it up here, and you can even open it here to make sure you got the right thing, make sure it works, etc.
